1960s Back-to-Back Bathrooms Renovation
The original bathroom design along with some extra storage space allow this redesign of the main bathroom and principal ensuite to become two very updated and spacious bathrooms for the family to enjoy.
Main Bathroom Design Update
The re-design of this bathroom involved stealing closet space from the kitchen behind, changing the bathtub plumbing to the opposite side of the room, and then moving and switching out a regular swing door for a space-savings sliding door. The client went with softly painted cabinetry throughout their bathrooms (cabinetry: Sherwin William’s Clary Sage SW 6178) and the design allowed the homeowners with a much more spacious and functional main bathroom for their guests and children to use daily.

Ensuite Bathroom Design Update
Originally a 2-piece ensuite, the best feature of this cramped bathroom was the small, southern facing window providing plenty of sunlight to brighten it up. Fortunately the homeowners were planning a full overhaul of plumbing so it only made sense to tap into the overly large pantry space from the kitchen behind and once again, add a pocket door and move the entry. With this new floorplan, the homeowners have a nice peaceful & private 3-piece bathroom space of their own.
